We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Media Coordinator to join our team. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing our online presence and executing effective social media strategies. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and utilizing your graphic design and video editing skills to produce visually appealing materials. Your role will contribute to enhancing our brand image and engaging with our target audience across various social media platforms.

Responsibilities

Conduct market research:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for social media optimization.
  • Gather insights and data to support decision-making processes and drive effective social media strategies.

Develop and implement social media campaigns:

  • Plan and execute comprehensive social media campaigns, events, and activities to promote our culture and values.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with company objectives and target audience.

Content creation for social media:

  • Create high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Write compelling copy, select relevant images/videos, and utilize graphic design tools to produce visually appealing posts.

Manage social media accounts:

  • Schedule and publish content on social media platforms, ensuring consistency and brand voice.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers in a timely manner.
  • Analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.

Stay up-to-date with social media trends:

  • Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our online presence and engage with our target audience effectively.

Video production and editing:

  • Utilize video editing tools to produce engaging and professional videos for social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts, storyboards, and scripts.
  • Edit videos to ensure high-quality visuals, sound, and overall production value.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva. Experience in video editing using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for staying updated with the latest social media trends and technologies.
