Job Description

As a Business Development Executive and proposal Writer at Nexius, you will be responsible for crafting persuasive proposals and cover letters that showcase our business’s strengths and capabilities. You will work closely with the sales and business development teams to identify potential jobs, projects, and opportunities and create customized proposals to win contracts and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Writing: Draft and edit proposals that clearly communicate our value proposition, solution, and competitive advantage. Ensure proposals are tailored to the specific needs of each client or project.
  • Cover Letters: Create compelling cover letters to accompany proposals, highlighting key points and demonstrating a deep understanding of the client’s requirements.
  • Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, projects, and opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in proposal writing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and business development teams to gather information, understand client needs, and develop proposal strategies.
  • Document Management: Maintain a comprehensive database of proposal templates, case studies, and other relevant materials for efficient proposal creation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposals are error-free, professionally formatted, and adhere to company branding guidelines.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed to provide additional insights and address questions regarding proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software (e.g., Proposal Software, Qvidian).
  • Knowledge of the IT industry and trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Ability to work on bidding platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, etc., and engage potential clients.
